Very typical proud noble parents, I see. Sometimes oppressive and abusive parents will end up crushing their children, but sometimes they really do create beautiful people because those oppressed children saw everything bad in their parents and decided they didn’t like that. I’ve got several friends like that who are great people with parents who are now divorced.
