Brianna was chosen not to get killed. Her father didn’t like her at all but chose to kill a person he truly loved simply because they were not related. If you look at it like that, the one that was truly unfortunate was Lillian. The twist ending where Lillian as saved doesn’t change the fact that she was still betrayed and that despite not being loved, Brianna was chosen to live.

So Brianna thinking of herself as unfortunate is really kind of odd though. Rather, why the hell isn’t she looking into the whole sacrifice ritual? Why is it even happening? And doesn’t she understand that Lillian was always meant to be sacrificed? Why does she think her father dots on the girl so much? Isn’t it because he feels guilty and at least wants poor Lillian to live a happy life until she dies?

Another point that Brianna should give some thought is why her character lived on the streets and was only found later? Was she kidnapped? what happened? Rather, doesn’t it seem that somebody tried to hide her away in order to avoid having to sacrifice her?

I really hope this B**** Brianna actually realizes what is going on and actually tries to stop the whole ritual and saves Lillian. I don’t have any high hopes for that though since pretty much every single novel/comic I have read with this theme always has the b**** adultmind reincarnated daughter act like a piece of crap and never actually try to help the actual children… just because they are a bit spoiled or mean spirited.
