Sus
I guess the “main character” in that book was supposed to be the bratty child. But eh, I don’t like her character, so I can only accept her as a 2nd main character, if author says so.
Take note that the Brianna in the novel/story wasn’t really good was she? She only wanted her families love? Then why didn’t that extend to Lillian? No what this shows is that the Brianna in the novel was perfectly happy with Lillian dying. thweir father didn’t want to sacrifice anyone and their brothers (on the surface) seemed to just want Lillian to believe in the father. So Brianna being punished later really and killed is fitting since she was the only one that didn’t show any selfless desire. Of course… the scene is rather interesting. The two brothers that a few years earlier expressed how much they cared for Lillian, now decided she should be sacrificed? Why didn’t they choose Brianna if it was just to save the country? Doesn’t this suggest that the two brothers actually had shifted allegiance towards Lillian in the novel? Something else that bothers me is that it seems that Brianna hasn’t fully read the whole novel seeing as she didn’t know why her character died in it. This seem to suggest that at best she just skimmed through it. If this really is the case, could it not be possible that the Brianna in the novel was actually the villain of the story?
