A randomly reincarnated person is probably not going to do something like solitary worship at a temple. Given magic, and the testable presence of a god, this person knowing ‘fate’ is not so unbelievable. He may even himself be…. But in either case, this person surely knows her situation. Everything about it.
So in this world is magic and divine power the same thing or not? I don’t think it was mentioned in the novel she read either. What if she doesn’t have magical power but divine power? Jenkinson didn’t say that she was talentless. Only that she’s unlucky. Plus Lili was not a real princess and God clearly wanted someone from the royal bloodline. The one with divine power. Which should have been Bri. That’s why she died. Because the emperor’s bloodline was cursed to end by God. And if the priest IS the emperor’s twin then it would mean that the twin suffered too which would then explain him reincarnating since he served God.
