He’s a rather adorable and cute demon king. So, the big pain he felt at betrayal that shook him and robbed him of his desire to keep going was Zenbart, his very good to best friend, betraying him. But Izu seems to not even hold it against Zenbart now. Which is sweet in a way. Izu’s love of Maize really is powerful. Or maybe it helped him understand why his friend went so far. I’ve read this story several times. I just want to write down some of my observations and thoughts.
