Jonas, that shithead, I don’t read spoilers so this is just my assumption. I think he wasn’t up to anything good, which is why his father killed him. The duchess pampered him too much, making him a scoundrel. Anyway, he’s an ass. He must have done or planned something terrible, leaving the duke no choice but to eliminate him. I strongly believe that’s the case!
I am totally distracted by the idea of a man who just lost an eye, an arm, and a leg being active enough to murder and kidnap within like a week of the injuries. I’m normally good at suspending my disbelief but come on. They could have stuck with the eye or arm and it would have been more convincing
