Second full read through and I really do love this couple. We give Judith a bit of a hard time for liking his handsome face but we know she clearly doesn’t just love him for his physical features, but also the way he treats her and the honest nature of his personality, etc. But Rudi also admitted to a bit of “love at first sight” syndrome that is basically just finding someone beautiful. So even though he came to love her for more things, his initial response was also to her physical beauty. I do wish she could have articulated more than physical attraction at this point, though. Why is she so awkward sometimes? Anyway, I still adore them.

I’m looking forward to see more. For once, I like all lead characters. My favorite is our cute, dear Luca of course! But I also love both Judith and Ruediger.

So my guess of how this focus on appearance will bite her in the ass: Rudi will suffer some injury to his face, and will think Miss Judith will not love him anymore. Dumb misunderstanding, yes, but this is a cute romance story, so fits.
