I lke that the rose symbology has become more obvious. I just wish it would had been fucking explained in the manhwa. It is in the WN through her internal monologue and she’s have had plenty of internal monologues in the manhwa.

To explain. In the setting likening a woman to roses or giving her roses is far from a compliment to her beauty. It’s a statement that even though she’s beautiful she’s also extremely dangerous for this and that reason since roses have thorns.

Cayena is known in the public as the Rose Princess, beautiful and harmful since she comes packaged with the mercurial Rezef.

This is extremely important for the symbolism of the flower frames as the flower frames Cayena is in always changes depending on how people view her.

No where is this more appaerent than the panel where Zeon realises that she was the only one who got anything real out of it.

In his mind she’s in a flower frame. The top half of the frame are lilies or some other flower that’s beauty only. At the bottom of the tohalf the flowers starts to fall and in the bottom half the flowers become roses. He’s realising that her beauty is now hidden behind her own thorns and how dangerous she is.
