I UNDERSTAND! After re reading the previous chapter. Since Elizabeth asked Ashlot not to fight in the 1st timeline, they had to escape the ship, and the only way to do that was using teleportation magic. But everything went awfully wrong from there…
In the current timeline, Elizabeth wanted Ashlot to fight to save her friend’s dad (she remembered thanks to the book that he had died at this moment and wanted to prevent it). She just had NO IDEA that if she hadn’t changed this event, she would have ruined her relationship with Ashlot AGAIN omgggg
To me, these are clearly memories of the 1st timeline. This is how things went terribly wrong the first time around… I’m just racking my brain trying to understand why not only Elizabeth but also Ashlot acted differently after the time rewind.
Anyway I love this story so much!!!
When does that chapter happen? The happy memories she sees are from the main timeline that we had been following since the beginning, but at which moment did Ashlot need to use teletransportation on Eli?? And the book of memories of her past life that helped her so much, did she forget it also?? I don’t want this sad version of the story to be the “actual” one D’x
