if Helianne is really innocent then the blade of revenge is pointed at the wrong person. she’ll be like the third rate villain that strong to weak and weak to strong. since she can’t do anything to her mother she points the revenge at much weaker Helianne.

Honestly, I’m finding it difficult to like Helga. Her resentment is blinding her to any other possibilities for her and Helianne.

Helianne’s only crime so far is that she’s favored by her mother and was raised with kindness. Right now she’s a fish out of water but, seems to understand when somethings not right.

Helga on the other hand resents her so much she’s not even willing to consider that it’s not her fault. That they could potentially team up against the mother. TBH, if I was Helianne I’d tell them both to fuck off and leave. The mother is fucked up and Helga is a ball of spite and resentment. They can both be toxic together.

If I was Helga… I’d leave. She’s clearly got enough ingenuity and business sense to survive on her own plus she has her magic. Only reason she doesn’t is cause despite her internal monologues that she’s gonna show her mother up, she’s still clinging on to the hope she’ll be recognized by her eventually. This whole disappearing act she want’s to do reeks of on final desperate cry for attention from the mother who clearly doesn’t want her.
