Please, please, please just let the actual plan work. I really want to see a proper “villain” protagonist in one of these stories, and Heliane is so perfect for that role. Instead of an FL who’s swooped up into the arms of the crown prince or whatever, make everything go to shit for everyone first and then think about her happiness. Maybe she can get married to the ML after the ducal families been thoroughly tarnished.
