I HATE that woman and I don’t understand why she insists on calling her mother. She is not your mom
Rohan will help, he will certainly not hinder her plot for freedom, I’m just curious to know how he will proceed.
It isn’t as though he can go against one of the the ducal family this easily, right ?
Also, I do wonder since a while which parent is the one born from the family.
The reason why I wonder about that is because it clearly isn’t an issue for them to have a woman at the head. Which twists the plot even further as the Mother seems to be the one in power there.
If the mother is the heir, it means the children weren’t exchanged or Helga wouldn’t be able to use magic, so she would have abused her own daughter for 16 years. The more I think about it and the way the father doesn’t seem to have any power in the house, the more I get the feeling that it could be the case which would certainly destroy this abusing heartless woman to bits.
Hitting this point in the story, I wonder if she’ll ever stop and consider what a commoner’s life is like, as in what her sister must have gone through growing up, and what she’ll have to expect once she flees and goes into hiding.
I will bet my left nut he saw through her plans and placed a tracker or something in that ring. No shot he just stays silent and lets her get away from him.
