my speculation is that helga is actually their real daughter. it doesn’t make sense how come she’s identical in appearance with helliane, her maid mother has brown colour hair while they’re both have the duchess hair colour :/
also have the feeling that helianne also knows about this from her maid mother…she just never thought that the duchess think helga isn’t her real daughter.
maid was screwed by the duke; she wanted a daughter that reminds her of him, so she stole one of the twins (maybe she was helping the birth process so she had access to the babies).
But it is also unbelievable how stupid this duchess is that she thinks that the crown prince, who has been very good friends with Helga since she was a child and has known her for so long, would not notice it!
