I’m really glad that these slice of life moments aren’t interrupted by the plot. In any other story, things like Sion returning from the capital unbothered, and finding a note that the girls have gone out shopping, when they really are still out shopping, wouldn’t happen.
I was fearing that the prince or some nefarious search party would interrupt. I really like that about this story so far. Cliched developments aren’t a given.
