I am rooting for this guy purely because he was the only one who saw Emilia for who she was, and probably had a crush on her since they were kids.
The only issue is that he is… rather passive. I would like it more if he was just honest about his feelings and helped Emilia out when she needed it.

… The art was lovely as usual, but I came here for Emilia and her takeover, not this ‘duke’ trying to feel better abt having abandoned her. Why are we wasting space for this? Is she seriously going to consider rebuilding the very bridge he let burn? He’s super one-sidedly trying to push his way back into her life despite her being very explicit about the fact that she wants no part in his. That is, honestly, one of my least favorite traits in a person, character or irl.
