Important NoticeTo give some context, most of our staff are students or full-time workers, and we spend our free time on scans as a small personal escape from daily life. Because of this, we are usually only able to work on weekends or whenever we have time after school or work.
As a result, updates on the site may not always be regular, but we are still doing our best. At times, this may mean releasing a batch of chapters (mass release) once we finally have the time to catch up on our projects. We are truly sorry if we are not always online, since this is not our main job and life sometimes gets in the way.
Despite everything, we are committed to maintaining this community. However, it has become increasingly difficult for us to cover the monthly costs of running and hosting the website.
Some have suggested moving everything to other platforms such as MD, but unfortunately content uploaded there can be removed by platform administrators. Since we do not own those platforms, we have no control over what happens to our uploads, nor can we guarantee long-term stability if a site is suddenly taken down, as we have seen happen to other platforms.
With our own website, we retain ownership of our content and can recover it if anything goes wrong. That is why we are still doing our best to keep the site running. However, it is not sustainable through our personal savings alone. For this reason, we have had to open monthly donations and occasionally limit public access to the site, as there are currently no better options available to us.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. If you are able to support us, we would deeply appreciate any contribution to help keep this site alive.

MC knows that Ophelia and Pat will eventually try to usurp her in the story so I don’t understand why she’s being so reckless around them. She already knows that Pat and the astrologer are the same person, that he sent her to the Beastman territory, and that he and Emma have been lying to her.
I’d rather she had no suspicions at all and was just naïve but she’s acting like she sees the tripwire and triggers the trap anyway. I don’t understand her logic.

That was clearly a bribe.
It’s obvious that Emma and Patrique want to get rid of Ray because he’s a thorn in their side. Most of the services that were planned against Ophelia and should harm her he mostly managed to avert.
You also have to admit that when Emma said she wanted to help Ophelia find evidence, in the conversation between her and Patrique it didn’t come across as that she really wanted to help her but to hurt her. Add to that how hostile Ray spoke to Emma when she came to him for alleged questioning for the investigation.
You can already see in this chapter that she is behind all this to want to harm Ophelia again.
Was he bribing them to give false information, maybe?
