I think it’s good that it’s not like in other stories where the main character suddenly transmigrates to another world like a novella or game as the antagonist, that the ML suddenly likes this person after a short time, even though he’s being bullied by the OG character , humiliated, molested or treated like a slave.
I even like that Ray only really started to develop real feelings for Ophelia after a few years and slowly trusted her over time and not after a few weeks.
