It’s a cliche but I like this kind of trope anyway LOL. It’s supposed to be main conflicts. And I get why the FL always think to give up ML. It’s like we got definite prophecy about someone’s future partner and now we’re just in relationship with him to be left. That’s what happened to exes, right? If I were in her shoes, I’ll be afraid too because I knew somehow he’s not supposed to be mine forever. We know people can change heart easily. I didn’t know what will happen if the man I love meet someone that I know will be his future partner. That would be painful if I love him so much. I’ll take what Erin’s did, create defense mechanism and tried to surpress my feeling.
As the saying goes “better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all” – Erin, falling in love right now is ok, don’t fight it!
Tbh I am eagerly waiting for the Drama to come up!!!!
It feels like the story is about to end. I hope there won’t be any unnecessary drama as it is already a good story and somehow feels like if extended more might cause the story to flop. Well just my opinion tho

A lot of readers will roll our eyes at this trope, but Erin said it here – it’s her defense mechanism to prevent herself getting hurt. Kinda like avoiding the hubris of icarus daring to aim for more than he should have. She needs to see it to believe it that the og FL Yulia won’t take Aiden away before she can finally convince herself that it won’t actually happen, no matter how good Aiden is to her now. It’s definitely frustrating for those of us who have read this a billion times over though 😛
