The Emperor is… huh, I’m impressed.
He isn’t a “paragon of perfection”, nor a “kind-old-man-trope” and definitely not the “cold-sexy-daddy-of-an-abandoned-MC-pwincess” emperor like some of the other manga/hua/hwa that I read with “good” emperors. He actually seems like a normal, complex man who does a decent job of ruling a country.
When she loomed over him I was soooo pleased. She’s brave and beautiful and with the help of girls supporting girls is going to make a wonderful life for herself
