This plot shift does not grab me. It seems like a stupid move. She’s been an effective plotter thus far, she’s got the duke and to some extent the emperor on her side, she probably has what it takes to take out her bro and that weird villain guy and put in Ethel as emperor with her and Raphael as the throne’s top support and nobody having the guts to challenge them again. So what does she need a wiz for so bad she has to commit slow suicide for it?

In the novelit was half of her life time – past and future added up. So she was constantly in the unknown of when she will die, and it created a lot of tension and turmoil for her and the people around her, so it’s interesting how they gave such precise time deadline in here 🤔 Really waiting to see how the author will deal with it as the story progresses, as it was a pretty important point to keep!

Seems a bit counterproductive and doesn’t fit the goal of survival from before🤨 (it has been a while since I started this so details could be hazy for me and maybe wrong I’m cool with being wrong just don’t yell at me for being wrong calmly correct me if needed lol) I get wanting to protect her loved ones but it feels weird to go that off from her original goal :’)
