I agree for the characterization they chose, however she called Rian dangerous as well and the Archduchy of Pedra the opposite of the capital which is the kingdom of light. Eleanor is behaving towards him as she did with Rian and the underworld comment may be related to the Archduchy position as the night kingdom.
The association between darkness and poc really is an issue though, especially as the “light kingdom” clearly lacks of diversity..
