Well, iam not the type that define if someone deserves to life or die, so i won’t comment on whether jonas deserved to die cuz of his shitty personality or to life cuz he was a victim of not being raised properly, but i will comment on a few points that i find annoying:

1. The duke, iam really impressed by his love for Sophia + i felt bad for him for the scene he was just looking at her without a way to make her accept him and the scene Vanessa used him but that’s all the positive points to him, all the rest of his personality and actions are a big no for me…. He exchanged the chance of getting his love with accepting a son as his even if he isn’t so that’s fair but what about taking responsibility of your decision 🤨 why didn’t you raise him properly specially with your knowledge of the wishing cup and jonas’s royal bloodline !!! I can’t really understand this point, if he tried from the start to raise him to be a good son then making rudiger as the heir, all of this will be solved if not for any other variables as rudiger would be the only one knowing of the cup and jonas as a good son would accept his brother as heir without conflicts (theoretically tho🙃)

2. After vanessa died for real not faking it and he made sophia his wife…why didn’t he tell her the truth at some point, for example, when she asked for jonas to be the heir, she deserves to know of the back story of their marriage and the son she deeply cherishes and as a duchess, of the wishing cup, for her to make a rational decisions not emotional ones

3. As he know how to love to begin with why didn’t he love rudiger and care for him!! where is the fatherly part!!😠 It doesn’t make sense for me, especially as rudiger is the son between him and the woman he insanely love

4. As i see it, sophia is a good person but just emotionally driven so with her good personality if she knew everything she would forgive Vanessa and her husband especially that she would have developed strong feelings for him + she would have chosen the right decision to make not what she wish for, doing her responsibility as a duchess …as for jonas, i believe her affection for him wouldn’t change but she would find a room for some affection for her own son at least.

Anyway, i find the duck to be the main wrongdoer here, even if he failed to raise jonas as a good person and his wife’s reaction wasn’t as i imagine, at least he would have done his part and all he could offer.🤷‍♀️

To year 2024 we have computers and are able to read this story… Despite that Koreans still think that 2000 years is not enough to move on from feudalism??? How come?! Would it hurt to say 200 instead?
