Interesting how we see Rezef break into the monster he would eventually become.
I do pity him for constantly having to face those dire situations. Everything would have been solved with Cayena if he had just come out of the bushes before she said anything to Raphael about making him Emperor.
That being said, everything now makes sense why in the first timeline that he would send Cayena to her death as a form of revenge, and now in this new timeline he is obsessed with her. She made amends with Rezef, and in his delirious mind, he wants to hold onto her and never let her go.
Shame our MC doesn’t appear to have those memories…yet.
