I love this pacing we get fast to where we need to but it doesn’t feel rushed
I love the quick pace of the story. Most authors would have dragged the escape out forever.
I feel bad for both sister’s tbh, Helga is just more able to save herself. I hope Helianne gets a good ending eventually too, she doesn’t deserve her mother’s goals and treatment (bc that’s not real parenting lbr) and she’s a good kid in a bad house.
