I don’t think the duke is her biological father, but I bet he spent quite a bit of time telling her she was the rightful princess since she was the first born and had magic. It makes more sense for Emma to desire her fathers love and affection as Ophelia receives it. When she realized that she was merely a third wheel, it’s natural for the duke to whisper in her ear about not getting what she deserves.🤷‍♀️

I love the casual transition from Ophelia being the villain to Emma. I am curious about Pat. On the one hand, he seems honest about being Emma’s partner in crime, but I also get the sense that the church really would prefer Ophelia as their goal from the original story line seems to be backing the gentle, kind heroiness. Ophelia’s powers though, might be an issue for them…hope they update soon. Thanks for all the hard work of everyone involved

I think after this incident it’s now clear to everyone that you shouldn’t get aggravated with Ophelia and that the emperor doesn’t have a good relationship with Emma.
Above all, the director noticed from the last chapter in the conversation between him and the emperor that he had no sympathy for Emma or, better said, no real interest in his alleged “elder daughter”.

It’s really sad that no one would have known about Ophelia’s disappearance if it wasn’t for her father. You can see that Emma and Patique had planned well to carry out this sneaky action and would have gotten away with it. But what I don’t understand is that there is a test for the students, why aren’t the director and the teachers allowed to watch it? Where’s the logic in that?
